Featured Antique Jewlery Box

    I picked this up several years ago and still can’t figure out where it came from? It’s about 4 ½ inches wind, rather heavy, maybe weighted inside. Looks to be very high quality workmanship. The only marking I can find is a lion on the bottom. Can anyone provide any information on its age and origin.
