Featured English Ironstone wash basin & pitcher

    I have this old wash basin and pitcher. I was told it is 19th century English Ironstone. There is only one possible identification mark that I can see but not sure if it is a maker's mark. Hoping one of the experts can shed some light on this for me.

    That's a stray bit of transfer. I do love the fact that on some of this stuff, the transfers clearly got applied a bit wrong, but just went with it anyhow.

    It's mid 19th or so, not neccessarily Ironstone, transfer printed made in Staffordshire.
