short research: Albert Zamarra, born 1898. so most of his output will not be antique. on catawiki a few with 60 to 80€. subjects hint to a bread and butter painter that is not collected outside Belgium.

One thing I like to consider is whether I can find any information on the artist that is NOT on an auction site. If I can't find information except on auction sites, that concerns me. Auction sites sometimes have incorrect information and then one site copies from another and then another and suddenly this information is written as if it's true, but there is no verification/documentation/proof. It's a consideration -- not the final word on buy/don't buy, but a consideration.
