I must have a soft spot for McCoy rustic line vases since I have 4 of these now. I can't stop purchasing them when there are cheap!

boy are you folks going to be unimpressed.....but my local thrift is unremarkable at the best of times....& I just needed to clear my head from all the madness in the country...

    All for $ 11.50 Cdn...

The Vancouver hockey jersey in almost mint...and goes for $40 to $60 bucks US...depending on where u look, and while I don't buy clothes .....it was just sitting there staring at me.....& when I noticed the tag saying...." remove before wearing"...was still on the garment...as if it was a gift..never worn....I couldn't..as a good Canadian...just leave it there !!! LOL !!!!!!

The Canadians key hook is mint...from China...but hey !!

The wine stopper is MIB...and yes I yielded to some X-mas shopping...;):(:(

The vase .....is crap...but after seeing all the Chinese designed vases here recently....well...I liked the color & design.....and the base was covered with that 60's..70's thick felt pad so as not to scratch the furniture....so I took a flyer !!

I just donated a McCoy vase. It had some sort of silver coating all over it that had some damage. I don't ship pottery any more, so I hope I didn't make any big mistakes there ....

And i'm praying my internet comes back up at home soon. This library stuff is insane. Power stayed up, communications down.... argggh!

I have a Floraline (McCoy's inexpensive line for florists) planter that has a thin silver coating on it. I'm thinking they used some stale stock McCoy that they had on hand and put a silver coating on it with the Floraline mark to liven things up. The coating is coming off a bit inside the planter where the previous owner used it and underneath the color is dark green glaze. Wouldn't be surprised if the McCoy mark isn't on the bottom hidden by the spray on coating they used.

Another Charity shop find earlier today. I quite like this piece and it was very cheap but I know very little about it and hope maybe somebody can tell me a bit more about it.

It could be a toothbrush / soap holder although something tells me its not as the soap would have to be small for the lid to fit over it, so I tried it with a bar of soap and a Victorian toothbrush.
