I purchased this pair (right and left hands) the other day and I do not know anything about them except that thy look great. Any help as their origin, age and value is greatly appreciated.

Welcome, moon modern. Full size photos preferred:

What is the size of them? Not sure 'figurine' is the right term but don't know what is. Interesting that they are a mirror image set, suggesting you would place both on the same surface. M'lady's dressing table? Other ideas will come along; just getting the ball rolling.

We're going to want to see the undersides.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

@moom modern , are there any maker's marks on the bottom or sides? Can we see a photo of the undersides? (Already asked by Bronwen...)

For some reason the pictures don't show up. Looks like a red X.

The pics are in post 2. Bronwen converted the thumbnail from the OP.

Okay, so you're saying that the broken image posted yesterday is the same as the original image that didn't show the bottoms/undersides? I thought he was answering my query from Feb. 7 about that. In any case, I wouldn't be able to help so will move on to other things. I don't need to watch this thread any further. I hope somebody can help.

Hard to say. It was so long between the request and his "reply."
