Hello everyone- I have a vase in the US Glass slewed horseshoe pattern but I think it's probably a reproduction. This vase is really crooked - it measures 11" on one side and 11 3/4" on the other. I think it's probably two pieces - the base seems straight and could probably have doubled for a candle holder. I can't find much info about reproductions of this pattern. I know Smith produced some carnival pieces but I can't find much out about ruby stained repros. It reminds me of some of the Westmoreland ruby reproductions. I was able to find another example on worthpoint but it wasn't much help. Does anyone know the history of the mold? I can supply more pictures if that will help. Thanks much!

can't find much on this one in ruby stained; this pattern isn't included in Heacock 7. First I suggest checking with black light to see if there is any faint glow at edges and details in a dark room. I did find another ruby stained at "R" but it is done differently. Smith still markets the punch set in this pattern.

Thank you TallCakes. I put a black light on it but there was no reaction.
