Turqouise necklace

hi allNot sure if this is real turqouise or not.. any ideas on how to tell 4 sure

Based on what I learned here, when I bought a necklace that was supposed to be turquoise, I did the following to test it:

1. Rubbed my fingers across one of the stones. If the stone is smooth and does not change where the black line are, then it could be dyed Howlite
2. Since my necklace had smooth stones, I found a piece up near the clasp and took a tiny piece of cotton soaked in nail polish remover and dabbed it on a small spot. After a while, the dye started to come off and the white Howlite appeared.
