Hello everyone on this icy, stormy day in Southern Wisconsin! I picked up this vase yesterday. The painting is nowhere near as nice as others I've seen and only a small amount of moriage. Stands about 15" tall and needs a good bath. I'm wondering about age and any other info anyone might have to impart.

I haven't been out of the house all day and don't have plans for tomorrow other than zooming a meeting in the morning. Thank heavens there is the option!

The sun is shining on the new snow from last night and it's supposed to get up to 40f tomorrow. My drive is ice, ice, baby and makes me tres nervous.

Nobody has anything more on this vase? Age? It got a soak and good scrub, looks much better. I will take it to a mall next week to hopefully find a new home.

Mark and style would indicate prior to 1920. I'm not sure I can tell you much more since that mark appears undocumented and is not in Gotheborg. Some sellers have other examples of ESO vases that they list as 1920's but, again, without documentation. I'm leaning a little earlier since I don't see many (if any) art deco elements and after 1920 I'd expect it to read Made in Japan or just Japan rather than Nippon.
