Delft Mark with USA ?

    This Delft Rood (Red) mark on a nappy is confusing me. It says Delft Holland but USA is on mark also and who is the maker ?

    Yes, it's Cleypool/Veldheer-De Klomp in Holland, Michigan. Van Hook's book on Delftware (published 1998) says the factory was founded in 1972 by Martin Cleypool and was sold to the Veldheer tulip farm in 1984. He says the mark VDK like yours has been used since 1985 with USA added in 1988.

    Oh forgot, the initials on the bottom right are the artist and yours looks like it might be b/w for Bonnie Wedeven but not sure.

    When I picked it up I thought Delft Road,
    Holland Michigan. Then I realized Road was Rood - Red. I confess I was confused.
