Hey guys I am new to this page and not sure where to post questions? I am trying to figure out what this piece is it is spring loaded in the lid I have been looking and possibly thinking that it could be a travelling ink container Help with where to post and what this is would be greatly appreciated

With out knowing the size, it looks like a cocktail shaker to me. A traveling ink container. Learn something new everyday.
