    looking at this piece but have no idea what it is? any ideas?

    Well, it does say '925 so I think its worth testing to make sure.

    The language would be Spanish - inside the triangle on left is 'ORFEBRARIA' (Goldsmithy/Silversmithy), can't make out what's at right and bottom, probably the name of the shop and its location in Quito; in the center, the 'AG 0,925' would indicate it's sterling silver...
