Mid Century Sofa/Day Bed

    Hi all,
    I’m trying to identify the maker of this mid century sofa/day bed and would appreciate any tips.
    There’s a label on the frame marked “Hoylake Divan”, which doesn’t bring anything up on a Google search.
    It’s similar to Toothill, but doesn’t appear to be one of theirs.
    Anyone have any ideas?

    Is it teak?
    It looks more like Danish Modern than MCM to me.

    I’m not sure what wood it is to be honest, and have no idea on age - felt that mid century seemed right, but happy to be proved wrong!

    The era is the same - the styles are different. Danish Modern is spare and sleek and beautifully designed and built, the fabrics rich and in good taste.
    MCM is also often beautifully designed and built, but can have a humorous twist, or more daring or unusual designs and colors.

    Nevermind - I get it. You just take the back cushion off and move the back support up and out of the way.
