I have a charcoal drawing I need help identifying the artist. I have attempted to present the signature as enhanced as I could.

We need @Aquitaine to highlight the signature!

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

If I look at the FIRST image I clearly see "A.H. GLIMAN", BUT with that coarse texture, it's a NIGHTMARE to try and enlarge it!!!!

Two digit postal codes were implemented in 1943 and five digit postal codes in 1963.

Is the work framed? If so, please post a photograph of the entire work including frame.

    Not the Pont Saint-Bénézet imo.
No chapel, five arches that we can see instead of four. High buttresses on the bridge instead of the low Avignon ones.
The bridge's gate building seems to be built on a sixth arch, whereas the gate at the beginning of Pont Saint-Bénézet is a town gate between the bridge and the town.
And no forbidding Papal Palace but a farmhouse(?) with two unusually high chimneys.
There also seems to be a second bridge behind the first one, Pont Saint-Bénézet is a single half-bridge.

You're right -- as usual! Apologize for the mis-identification. Pont Saint-Bénézet is known for its four arches.

Thank you for the additional photograph. So frame consistent with 1960s dating.

Wondered about that. That female-shaped torso in foreground does convey a touch of Surrealism. And there appears to be arches of a second bridge behind the first.

I suppose this will be one of the unanswered questions in addition to the artists' name.

Why don't you (carefully) open the back up? Will do no harm.

Clever you! Lovely image. I've always admired Corot's work.
