A1 is always silverplate.

The second piece is marked by Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Co of London,

The first piece is marked by Lee and Wigfull of Sheffield and is also plated.

The design registration number on the Lee and Wigfull piece was registered in 1904 or 5.
