hi again, why am I having a hard time finding anything about this shirt?
It does say cuff n collar right?

Tricia, the first warning labels on plastic bags didn't happen until 1959 so that's your earliest date. At an (educated) guess, I'd think your NOS shirt to be early 1960s.

You may not want to open up the shirt, but it would help in determining the age to see if there's a care label inside (maybe lower side seam). If the shirt has a label with care symbols, it's circa 1999+ if originally sold in the U.S. Although the packaging looks like an older type (1960s+), the embroidered wording on the inside back yoke seems to be a more recent way of showing a company name on clothing -- but I could be wrong.

 

Helpful information. The "Made in" label is also useful in dating.

That looks like linen and such a great color ! If I had my 23 year old body back,Id wear it for days.
