I don’t think this is crazy old just wondering if anyone can ID tag? @BaseballGames ? Resembles Sears Roebuck but is slightly different and doesn’t appear to spell Roebuck. Says “Flex Action” in pocket. Was thinking maybe late 50’s-70’s. 9E46C22C-FCC2-4E1D-A0BD-EFB2B1F1D85E.jpeg 47DB0E1E-DE17-4A6D-B975-16DA9187E54D.jpeg A53902F0-24F1-4587-B560-88A3A6D1235A.jpeg

Gracias. I don’t even know why I asked on this one. A vintage ball glove is of little significance. You’re too kind with your time! I’ve gotten obsessive about ID’ing everything I bring home when not everything is worth the time ID’ing. This would be a good example of one to let slip into the outfield probably. …Which is exactly when it will turn out to be a small town manufacturer whose gloves are worth thousands. Must be vigilant and stay on the ball! ;p …Time for bed.

As always, we'd refer you to the memorabilia experts at Net54 [ https://www.net54baseball.com/forumdisplay.php?f=5 ] for a consensus of reliably knowledgeable answers (and tell you to steer a mile wide of keymancollectibles, but that's just us and our experience with that... :shifty: site... :yuck: ).

Odd that the label has faded / worn into illegibility, but the glove collectors at Net54 will easily recognize and identify it. The mitt appears otherwise to be in decent shape -- a little saddle soap and linseed oil should probably have it looking almost new. And you're right, ball gloves can range from tough-to-move at yard-sale prices into the many hundreds of dollars. We'd guess -- and it's only a guess, mitts are a specialty niche of collecting in which we have no expertise -- that that's not a big-ticket item, but ya never know without more research.
