    Don't those beads look kind of somehow "glued" or spray glued in there???? I'd hit them with a soft tooth brush and misty water and see what happens.... but that's just me!!

    He/She's cute as a button and I love the face!

    It could be Chukchi, from the Russian side of the Bering Strait. They have a related culture.
    Maybe the beads are meant to be berries. Best leave them alone, maybe use a soft make up brush, no water.

    I immediately thought roe as well. Very well could berries too.
