Designer pencil holder ?

Hi all
thanks for loooking. Have had this for some years and seem to recall a designer name but alas cannot find anyhing similar. Am sure my google terms are wrong. Please help.

 

It has the food and drink symbol on the base. So probably not a pencil holder?

Searched toothbrush also zero, so if food related it would not then be a toothbrush holder...hmmm..thank you so much

 

Agree with toothbrush holder.
Would make sense that it would be "food safe" since a toothbrush generally goes in one's mouth.

 

Thanks for that, so then its rather an outdated piece for toothbrushes,all electric....so will use it for pens and pencils
