Not sure what this is ....

    Hi folks,

    Here is a small item I found while archiving through some tools. I've provided 3 photographs and a measuring tape for scale. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Looks like it maybe some type of flip up peep site, for what I don't know. It might be connected to one of the other tools you are archiving?
