Featured Stone fish necklace

I found this today at an estate sale that I had time to get to after work. It's a stone fish that looks mostly like a salmon.

The cord is leather and the lone bead is deep blue glass.

I'm not sure if the marks under the 'chin' (last picture) are a signature or just part of the design.

Any opinions as to origin style etc are welcomed!

I thought orca, but, but, but the dorsal fin--- it's not upright?? So I second guessed myself.
