Are the marks Russian on the silver cups?

I see marks 84P 31 .....

Nope - that's a Mexican eagle mark and 900. Anyone know who used #31?

Looks like Ineedhelp nailed it. The 900 silver fineness and wriggle work engraving make sense for Israeli too.

If it had been made in Mexico it could have been worth a little more money.

 

It wouldn't have the cool factor. ( I just blew a on Judaica at a synagogue sale last week, adding to my hoard of eilat among other problems. )

The Hebrew word for Silver is the same word that is used interchangeably for Money.....

perhaps this cups from israel,because I did buy, which is the Star of David.

 

I don't think there is any doubt that these cups are from Israel with the marks they bear, although I do not see a Star of David in these pictures. Perhaps the Star is on the other side from the shields?

i did buy together 6 small cups.and one biger with is the Star of David.

I get Israeli stuff, but never with those markings. Never seen them before. It looks like 900 and 31 or 34 from here, even though it isn't.

 

I too have never seen this mark for silver on any item, but being a Hebrew reader....to me...there is no mistaking it for numbers....as I see only letters.
