Japanese jug

    It’s going to be a bit difficult to read that mark because some of the characters are not distinct, but the orientation is correct in the first pic of the mark. I’ll make a wild guess and say Meiji period, late 19th, early 20th c. Note: wild guess!

    Not much gold there,looks like most has worn off the branches and blossoms,etc. The technique is Zogan Inlay using thin sheets like gold leaf.
