Or a collar? Does it look 1950's? Earrings are clip ons. The metal is brass. Thanks.

Does 1950's sound right? I got it at an estate sale about 10 years ago.

Set strikes me as more 1970s. I was given a torque-like silver necklace for Christmas '75. Don't remember it being 'a look' in the preceding couple of decades.

Thanks Bronwen and Ownedbybear. I appreciate the information.

Given overscale "pearls", I'd think heading into the 1980s.

Thanks Debora. I would not have guessed it was produced that late.

Hm. I had a torque bracelet as a gift in the early 70s. I do rather agree with Debora: that honking big goldtone set pearl thing looks late 80s into early 90s.

Same here. I said 80s right off the bat. Those big pearls are the giveaway.

I was given my first torque and matching bracelet in 1969 or 70. And I'm with the others, those large 'pearls' are later.

It was inspired in great part by the late Princess Diana. She had a thing for those big bordered pearl pieces.
