    Hi,
I'm trying to figure out who made this rug. It is large, about 8' x 10', the person that owns it thinks it is Turkish. I've no knowledge of rugs, hoping someone will know.
    Any information appreciated.
    Thanks for looking.

Can you get a picture of the whole rug?

lol, KOT - it is a heavy one.
Komokwa, the design on the corner is pretty much the design on the rug - it runs along the edge of the piece with the bow/ribbon on the corners and centre. My knowledge is zip on rugs, I thought the edge and fringe if any, would be all that was needed, sorry about this.

No, CX...the edge and fringe ARE very important ....more than the design....but the design can be a dead give a way....to what the rug is NOT !

    Meanwhile.....I don't see Chinese...or Persian....of any kind......so I'm leaning towards a cheaply made box store rug....

I have a Chinese 90 line, some Chinese silk, and some Navajo & Mexican rugs .and had a nice Bokara......& it's not those.
