Hi everyone, My name is Casey, a Project Assistant with the Museum of the Cariboo-Chilcotin. Recently, I have been working on a project archiving and accessioning items that have been stored off-site after our Museum had been relocated. Many items are unfortunately have not been properly recorded and/or labeled and because of this, many of these older, vintage farming/mining/logging tools and accessories are unidentifiable by name, making it a real chore to do data entry. I will be sharing photos from what I find that I could use a hand identifying -- any and all help is greatly appreciated. Cheers! Casey Bennett Project Assistant Museum of the Cariboo-Chilcotin
Thank you, Debora! It really is fun and delving into these historical artifacts is amazing. I'm more than certain I'll be able to find the answers I'm looking for -- this seems like a very active community. Cheers!
Welcome. And don't just sit there, post stuff! There's nothing this motley mess likes better than a good puzzle. (unless it's a truly horrible pun, but we can stick to the puzzles.)
Hello Casey, I am sure people on this forum will help you as much as they can. They are a great bunch of knowledgeable, helpful, kind people.
