Carved Wood Panel, Sunflowers & Foliage, Ribbon Border

It's almost a half inch thick, 8 1/2" x 7 5/8", ~7 1/2 oz; wood species unknown to me.

There is serious depth to the Sunflower blossoms; all the rest is proud to the panel. The ground, both inside and outside of the border, is dead flat, without a tool mark or any roughness; just as smooth as the backside. The edges of the ribbon are crisp, showing no sanding abrasion. If this offered any hint of contemporary work, I might believe it was laser-cut...

Is it Arts & Crafts, Art Deco, or? I'm trying to age it, as well as describe it accurately. As always, thanks for lookin'!

 

Not Deco, sorta Art Nouveau, all Arts and Crafts. Age, not a clue.

 

Art nouveau furniture panel. Looks like walnut. 1890-1910. Nice!

Is it carved? Could it have been machine-made?

 

Possibly in part. A lot of carved funiture at the time was started with a machine the details done by hand.

 

Very Art Nouveau. That carving is so delicate.
