All three of these are damaged in their own special way - The pitcher has had the handle glued back on - it's the least conspicuous of the 3. The sugar bowl has also had the handles glued back on and has chips on the rim of the lid. The low creamer currently has the handle off. Before I toss them I'd thought I'd see if anyone wants them. I'll draw a name if there's more than one person interested - lets say - Tuesday evening. I'll pay for shipping in the U.S. - elsewhere in the world you'll need to cover the shipping.
What a shame. I have no place to house them either, but some of the scenes are ones I do not recall seeing before, the one on the creamer, the one in the first photo of the pitcher & Cupid being teased by a maenad holding a thyrsus out of reach. There's a resemblance to another of their designs known as 'Night shedding poppies':
You can also post them for free on facebook marketplace - I think there is a collector's group for Wedgwood jasperware. You would likely have people even paying the shipping. Hard to believe how difficult it now is to sell this stuff - even in mint condition. So very nice of you!
facebook marketplace....... lovely...but that's not here......this is for our members....not random strangers....
I'm on FB but I stay away from the marketplace - just seems to be a real mess. This one is definitely for antiquers only
Hi, I need something to help fix. Please throw my hat into the ring. I'll give them a special home. greg
Glad you found this, Greg! I'm not a huge fan, but these I really like! Was going to let you know but the plumber came to fix my sink. Nice man, but he looks almost exactly like the gentleman in "American Gothic." Between that and the generous display of you-know-what, I forgot.
I spun the wheel of randomness - And the winner is... Greg!! @gregsglass Greg, send me your address in a PM and I'll get these right out to you!
