I guess so. It was Elton John who sang 'Solar Prestige a Gammon', and he knew his toupets. Before the hair implants, that is.

 

Is that one of those pieces of lyrics that sounds different that the written words? And everybody gets it wrong when at karaoke?

 

Correct me if I'm wrong. . .but I think the whole song was gibberish on purpose to confuse people.

at the time...elton & bernie were taking a lot of flack for lyrics in their songs that some folks questioned...and " offended others " !!
Elton asked Bernie to write a song , made up of random words , that would offend no one....no way...no how !!!
And he put it to beautiful music.....using his piano in just the way that does...

And still...they got comments demanding to know why ' five fish ' appear in the song !!

With some folks....you just can't win !!!
