Featured Another brooch I found

Thanks guys. I paid £9.50 including postage for this one which is another reason I doubt it's real gold. Even if it is not, or whether it is, I don't intend to sell it. It's part of my collection now and here to stay. It's not my favourite but I got to learn some interesting things about it so thank you !

The other pin you found looked like it was showing it's base metal so yours is probably gold filled, but you never know! I got a couple of pieces last month that were listed as costume and turned out to be solid gold.

 

Yeah it also had a different closure and a very slightly varied pattern. But still might be from the same era and company? Maybe they changed the clasp recently on the other one.

 

My one also looks darkened in some places so I agree, probably gold filled

 

It may well be gold. Some sellers are daft!
