Pair of Rose Medallion Vases

    I hope someone can tell me if these are Chinese and the age of these vases. (As with the amethyst vase, don't look at the price sticker.)

    Each vase is 8 1/4" tall. They're hand painted and enameled and have a slightly scalloped, slightly fold rim. I think the applied things that look like worms to me are some type of animal, as are the applied "handles". The interiors are completely glazed, and you can see the little black specks/glaze pops. Dry bottom rim with unmarked white glazed interior.

    Any help is appreciated!
