Hello everyone - I have this little vase that I'm a little puzzled about. It stands about 5" tall and has a painted decoration. I believe it's an import (Czech?) but am unfamiliar with the style of decoration. I also can't decide whether it's been cut down or not. Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks much!

It's missing a stopper, so I suspect has been ground down. One clue is that number on the base. Bohemian, early 20th or late 19th.

Thanks again, Ownedbybear! That makes so much sense. I kept thinking it was a taller bud vase that got cut down but it would have made a nice little bottle.

It's a pretty wee thing, and someone obviously liked it enough to have it ground. Much better than throwing it away. ;)
