She was only made one year. I have her as a reproduction Silkstone, but I had no idea of her value.

I always wanted the black dolls as a kid, but never got any. Seeing those prices I wish Mom had gotten me some!

I found a few more pieces of silver, a Birks Bowl, salt and pepper shakers and little shell shaped things - maybe for nuts or candies? The bowl and shakers were very dirty so I understand why they didn't see the marks, but the shell things show the sterling mark clearly. The bowl has a dent in it, weighs 342g, so will sell as scrap.

Also found this Argyle and Sunderland Wedge cap with lots of curling club pins. Have been going through them to see if any are worth listing on their own or in a group.

I found a site that is all about curling club pins, I have contacted them to see if they know anything about the Chub Lake pin, I'm not able to find anything on it. I think the pin is for a club in Canada as the pin has the Birks stamp on the back, but not 100% sure. So far several pins are for clubs that are no longer in existence so it makes it hard to get info on them. Here is the pin in question if anyone knows anything about it:)

Would've had to have a glass liner if they were salts.

Usually when I find shells like that they're plated. Cheaply. Nice to know there are some silver ones to be found. Those old curling medals could be some real money.

Found these today. I have a hunch they're late Georgian or early Victorian. Won't cry too hard if they're not.

I'd think Georgian on the sticks. Daft thing is, you can pick them up here for not a vast amount. I do like them. Those have a very pleasing balance.

Thanks Bear. It's nice to know I'm not totally crazy. THe bases looked less finished than the spun Indian pieces and the design was right. But what I know of Georgian brass would fit in the candle cups with room for change.

As to Woody...the folks who'd know will never see the question on this thread. He needs his own.

One possibility - two folks put in their highest bid and typoed them. Left the decimal point out.
