I always mention earrings. The only type of jewellery I wear almost every day.

Are those Amber ones Louis Rousselet or Madeleine thingy-whatsit can’t remember the surname?
The pearly ones remind me of the old Christmas decorations blown into a mould. Are they glass or plastic?
Can we see the reverse of the pearly and triangle ones please?

 

KSW Mercury ornaments? They do have that look.

 

The amber ones must be fairly old with that unique back.

 

And an omega clasp, around since ca 1920, maybe earlier, although often used together with a post.

The Rousselet group thinks not LR, although it's a clasp style he used. They do think between the wars as do I. Omega is the word I was looking for!

I'll get a snap of the back of those backs. The swallows and pearly ones came from a very nice woman I've bought others from.

I'm assuming the amber ones are the top image as well.....so they must just 'snap' on rather tightly to the ear lobe??? I've never seen any backing like that before!!! BUT they ARE lovely!!!

 

They're very comfortable.

The backs: I've photographed a group of four, all from the same seller. I need to ask where she got them. They're old in style, but might be repro. Not that I mind. Pearly ones are glass, I think.

 

Nice! I can't wear most earrings, since my skin has a metal allergy. But love looking at them.

 

Figtree3, same as me I have the same type of allergy (and other types, too) and cannot wear anything less than 14 K gold (proven). I also cannot wear clips, only pierced earrings. But I, too, love looking at them.
