is one of the hands missing? the reason I ask is because it looks the same color where the possible break is - are we sure these are bisque and not some early form of composite?

Yes....familiar as dolls, but not as figurines.

There was a craze by doll artists a few years back to create dolls that looked like newborns. I'm sure google will bring up a few.

Good lord I can honestly say I have never come across...things like this. Probably something to do with the Reborn phase a lot of people went through as Judy has already mentioned. xx

Why do these babies look like mutants-to me this is not cute.

 

I was not a pretty infant...but soon became the beautiful soul seen before before you now! Ain't science wonderful?

 

I'm not keen on babies, much prefer puppies but this is so much worse than any flesh & blood I have ever seen. Thankfully. Not sure I'm up to dealing with the real thing.
