The verdigris I guess is applied and probably not as old as they are supposed to look like?

I'm wondering if they are a scale weight set. Have you tried weighing them??

I have not, but how weighting them will help confirming if they are scale weights? I’m not sure what units they use/used in India.

Look for 10/5/2/1 ratios. If they are genuinely old then ounce or if modern then grams but they could also be for precious metals or maybe just tourist junk.:)

    Largest one - 192 grams/6.77 oz, next 119g/4.20 oz, next 71 grams/2.47, 40 grams, 27 grams ...
    Don’t see any pattern

    119 + 71 = 190 (you got 192)
    40 + 27 = 67 (you got 71)
    40 + 27 + 119 = 186 (you got 192)
Not sure what it all means and maybe I'm seeing a pattern where none exist.:bag:

I’m using a food scale so it may be a bit off. The two largest ones have indents on the bottoms, could be result of the production or some weight had to be taken off?

Jesus, why people don’t try to take better photos.
I was just about to comment that they are “opium weights”, either Thailand, Burma or Laos.
    But still, likely not old.
