Featured Thrift store score: 2 pairs of Victorian 18 carat earrings

Hello everyone,
Can I do a 'omg what a catch'-post please?
We went to a thrift store (kringwinkel) on Friday and usually its a really crappy store where there is nothing to find, but this time I hit the jackpot!
I bought these two pairs of earrings for 0,5€/pair so 1€ for the two pairs.
Hubby had just passed by them and thought they were 'brol':garbage.
I immediately knew they were good when I saw them hanging on the crappy earring stand and I couldn't be quicker to grab them.
Anyway: the first pair is gold with blue enamel. There are no marks but I tested them and they are definitely 18 carat gold and maybe a tad more.
Some of the enamel is missing but I dont mind.
I actually found their lookalikes in a book.
The second pair is my favorite. I m actually wearing them right now. They are 18 carat gold coral ball earrings with seed pearls. I would say they are from around 1870.
I can't decipher the marks, anyone an idea?

Didn't we just have a brooch with that exact star in the middle? Great find. My sister never even glances at jewelry and she goes to thrift stores almost daily now that she is retired. I always look on the slim chance. Found some pieces here and there but none as good as yours.

Normally I would say I never have any luck in kringwinkels either but this shows you never can tell.

A few months ago I decided to go a a bit less to kringwinkels, because I never found anything but this is the proof you just never know.

Aah timing is everything! And no more trusting the husband on jewelry matters. These are stunning, even if they weren't 18k. I adore them and am very jealous. My regular thrift puts all jewelry online, even the costume.

Yes Dutch is amazing. I always try to sneak some Flemish/Dutch words in my posts

 

I actually find it easier to read than German. I learned German properly, took exams and all that. But Dutch is just way simpler somehow.

They are gorgeous, what a find!

De koralen oorhangers (especially for @Ownedbybear ), uhm, the coral ear pendants look very Dutch to me. If so, the mark is likely to be a small lion's head. Like the stylised Belgian or Dutch lion, so not an actual lion.
I would expect it to be right-facing for 18k gold with 'aanhangsels' (for obb), which oorhangers are. Left-facing is without 'aanhangsels'.
