Church sale items from a couple of weeks ago.... all the jewelry was 50 cents. No great shakes, but the "jade" strand is a fabulous plastic fake... looks pretty good.

Beat-up cameos. I thought the earrings were resin until I louped them and held them up to the light.... carved shell.

I think she is gold-filled, no marks. I liked her profile.

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

    Mexico...or south of there...
the image does not strike me as something I instantly recognize ..
also the carved designs seem pretty light....without any depth.....so to me looks like a more modern item..
    imho..

Found this amazing social realism painting in an antique shop, sold as a print for $60. The artist is John Berkey, listed Illustrator. I just love this type of art. I count 17 men in this one, good size too @ 13” x19” not including the frame. I think Brad might appreciate this one too. @verybrad

    Edited:
Just figured out this is by John Conrad Berkey, which is a very good thing, lots of auction records with better prices than Ben.

Have been on a bit of a binge buying "better" things. Still buying some schlock but not showing it here …. LOL!

Bought these mica shade lamps from the owner of our store. He had them priced at $65.00 for over 2 months with no takers. Sold to me for $25.00. Looking at comparisons, I should do very well with these.

This 9" arts and crafts hammered copper vase (tyg) is probably by Stickley Brothers. It is unfortunate that it has been polished but can be re-patinated. Also from the store but I didn't let this one hit the floor. Bought for $40.00.

Here is one from live auctioneers that has been repaired.....

This Japanese MCM chandelier was bought from a local estate for $25.00.

Shades are made of bamboo with a fiberglass interior.

Have not been able to find much on the maker or other examples.

This arts and crafts lamp is a new well-crafted base that uses old shades. Bought from another dealer for $50.00

I really like the pagoda shape of this large MCM lamp. This one was a thrift store find for $7.00.
