good morning! Was hoping someone may have a clue about this artist...signatures are 't.j. taylor' and 't.j. g taylor'. I've searched and searched without any conclusions.

I loved these because they range from a 1934 piece (self portrait) to 1975. picked them all up for a cool $12 buckaroos.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Could this be the hobby work of an illustrator or just hobby work? You might check period artist registries and artist for hire books for that last name.

The oil sketch reminds me of the one to the left of the fireplace on the set for the sitcom Will and Grace. I know that piece because I was once commissioned to make a replica.

    Best pic I could find.

The desert painting is the prize in the lot. You may have something there, if you can identify the artist, because the demand has always been there for western art.

Hi! After googling, it appears that a lot of people were interested in that portrait. That's my favorite, too.
I will keep searching, but I certainly don't mind holding on to them for a while. thank you for your help!

Looks like one of the arches found in so many of the Utah parks.
I don't know how the matching images works - but finding the location may help.

The quality does look very much like commercial illustrator.

It's like being an artist but without all that tiresome starving in garrets stuff.

Id have jumped on those for $12 ! And I literally have no more wall space. I love the abstract ones, and the landscape especially.

my wall space is dwindling, also! I only buy what i like...if it doesn't sell, I can keep and enjoy them. I have kept a couple that I could get good money for, and I've given a few to friends. It's all good.

The landscape is the Arches National Monument in Utah. How did I find out? It's on the back...Doh!
