I'll take a stab at it but am curious to see if @Northern Lights Lodge will agree (and I bow to her superior knowledge!)
I believe the first piece may be machine-made chemical/Schiffli lace. I think the second is also machine-made but may have a different name/classification. Age: possibly early-to-mid-20th century. Regardless of what you call them, both are commonly found in thrift stores in my suburban area of the Midwest USA and value is sentimental rather than monetary.
I look forward to seeing what others say. :)

Welcome; I don't know the answer, but congratulations on your nice complete title - so often one sees titles like "Help!" or "Help identify!" But "help with identifying this lace" is perfect!
I'm sure others will have some ideas for you.

@gmcculloh @bluumz Yes, indeedie! Bingo! Bluumz is "cor-rect"! A++++ id job! Yes, not worth a huge amount - especially the one on the bottom as it is damaged. The top one IF it is in undamaged condition... depending where you try to sell... probably somewhere around $8 to $12...
    Pretty examples! Thanks for sharing!

I need to find my old lace and have you take a look at it. I had a Brussels lace shawl but it went back to Brussels. I believe I have some c.1850s black Chantilly

Make sure it is kept in a dry environment. Black Chantilly was coloured using iron, so it is extra vulnerable. It is the most beautiful lace there is, so worth some tlc.:)

Any jewelry is right! Probably why black lace has a tendency to look "rusty"!

If possible - "roll it" - use acid free paper over a cardboard roller... then with acid free paper to wrap it. I like storing my black in a very dark area...

    It gets very brittle!
