hi folks, something else i found for a pound yesterday

really lovely rich colour

stone stone cold

a couple have that banded agate on them

thought carnelian ?, but thought that was more orangey

50s Clasp ?

any thoughts appreciated

 

Could be carnelian, which can be reddish. It is lovely.

found a lovely vintage velvet burgundy and black lapel smoking as well bosko, must have put my bag down somewhere, and just forgot to pick it back up again
went back to all the shops i had been in, but nothing
one of them had shut so hopefully will go back there tomorrow

man do i love a smoking jacket, so am gutted !

 

I think the clasp might be newer than 1950s. The bracelet looks delicious!

Fig, do you know much about antique real photo postcards ?

was in an antique shop yesterday, and there was a huge huge album filled with them all pre 1915 maybe earlier

95 % filled with scantilly clad young ladies, fairy nmph type girls art nouveau etc, nothing naked

some dodgy racial ones as well

the good thing about it is they are selling them individually (£5) so you can cherry pic certain ones if you see a rare type

whats the ones to look out for in this category, are they worth much ?

 

Book would know better than I. If any of those racy ones are of black or asian ladies, those would be better - the rarer the images the more desirable as far as I know.

The red stones might be dyed.

Anything in the stack that sticks out as "well this is weird" is a likely candidate.

Those 1920s style clasps are still being made. The bracelet looks fairly recent to me.
