Can anyone identify this life size antique vase?

Just found this in a local auction and its absolutely huge. Has anyone got any information about it. Cheers.

it's a statement piece , not much more.
See the two smaller ones......i got one of those.....couldn't get 30 bucks in a yard sale.....and I have another that's 4 times as big.....couldn't get 50 bucks for that one either....
both mine are lovely...but they are as these are ,recent chinese imports...

 

Well, get a few more and use them to hold up the arbor!

they make great planters......but the big one with all the koi fish painted so nicely on the inside.....how can ya fill that with dirt !

 

I think if it were older it'd be in two sections.I seem to remember that from God knows where.That being said,this one looks a tad better done than most,and it is certainly a statement piece . Be able to tell more with some close ups and the bottom marks,but gut feeling is 20th century,probably 1980s.

I almost bought a 7 ft vase back in the late 1960s. It was recovered from a robbery from 1956. The insurance company wanted 725 dollars for it, I hemmed and debated about for a week. Finally made up my mind to buy it. Went to the place where it was being sold. It was gone. It appeared in a sale in NYC a few months later for 3 thousand dollars.. It was a single piece and stunning.
I saw it sold several years at Sotheby's and had gone back to China. Sold for 95 thousand dollars!!!!!!!!! I will never get to see another one.

Wow, might have to have a serious look at it haha.

 

Sold one like this in my little local market for 150, could have sold another dozen. Just ordinary folk wanted it, no interest in backstamp thank God or my poor back!!
