I know it should be easy to find this mark, but I swear I cant figure it out ! I thought sitzendorf, then possibly Dresden ,but nope ! The man is 12 in high, the woman is 10 1/2,and though I thought I was long done with this style of object,at $15 I had to have them ! Any and all input is gratefully received.
It's on Chris's website on the misrepresented crown page but it doesn't give the maker's name only that the company was founded in 1951. http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/resources/misrepresented-marks/crown/index.php
Thanks Sis and Spring ! At least I ascertained they aren't made in china ! Arent they beautifully done ?

A little more on the uncertainty of this mark. It had the link as Sis supplied. Some do believe it is an Asian reproduction, last reply. http://iantiqueonline.ning.com/grou...source=activity&groupId=1813674:Group:1072787 --- Susan
Very interesting, thank you Susan and everyone. My mother loves them so I guess they'll live here now.
