It looks like a Kirk Stieff pattern. It's not Repousse, but you might want to look through here at their other patterns.
Sorry, I don't have time, I have to leave for work.

I have (literally) about a hundred pounds of sterling and plate flatware - but a photo such as this STILL makes me covet...............there must be a name for this disorder.........Spoon Envy? Fork Fascination?

Got it - Ineedamore Utensilitis...................only cured by the forced acquisition of Chinese made stainless steel "silverware"............

    Two identical spoons
    0808 chapman 001.jpg
One marked Bailey Chapman & Co, the other Crosby & Morse.

    Is the Bailey a retailer?

It may just be that the light is hitting each spoon differently, but the bottom one in the photo looks like the border lines are more deeply incised?

It may be my eyes (or the angle of the photo) fooling me but . . .

Is the bowl on the top spoon a bit more elongated (more oval/less rounded) than the bowl on the bottom spoon?

Is the top spoon just a wee bit longer than the bottom spoon?

Do these two spoons fit together perfectly when "spooned"?

    Just curious. ;)

One has bowl tip wear. They are bent slightly differently, probably from use.

It looks like maybe the Bailey Chapman is a missing link in the Baily chain of maker's of the Boston area. Crosby Morse was Boston too.

Thank you, Terry, for the information. I think they are graceful and timeless silver spoons. ;)

I normally would not disagree with Cheryl, but I'm skeptical about the Klank Rose ID on that first item. I don't see all the other flower varieties yours has going down the handle on the ones in Cheryl's link. Or am I going blind?

Took a closer look and the one example in the link that most resembles Terry's is called a "true channel back, maker unknown." So at least we know it's Baltimore made, but not who or what the pattern was called. It is lovely!

That is the one, Terry. Does that website say anything more than was said on the Stieff site?

That seems to have been copied off there a while back and is gone now

I'm thinking those blokes were just putting their stamp on imported stuff.

    Here's a muddy maker's mark
