I paid a lot more than that for an unsigned piece this winter that I knew was something good. Turned out it was a Ciner without the siggie. It's always fun when that happens.

 

I once bought a whole load of stuff dirt cheap from a nice chap in Camden Passage. Everything was two quid. He'd been dumped by his boyfriend and was exerting serious revenge.

 

I listed this today. I immediately started getting offers. I was about to accept an offer for $850.
But I waited too long. It has a couple bids now.
This lady offers me $1,000. To end the listing with two bids and sell to her.

Got it watched. It may not get to the $1000 but... one of the freight forwarder buyers or two might get into the act and then LOOKOUT. I used to ship pieces like this to Russia fairly often and China even more often. Ladies over there like bling.
