Help identifying a work table

Hi. I'm looking to identify this table. I am thinking it's 1830-1840 empire but looking I've seen almost identical pieces both empire and William IV. The finish is rough but help with wood type is also wanted. Mahogany?

I've seen a lot that are very similar, the two you posted both look almost identical to each other as well as mine.

 

My grandmother's was mahogany.

 

I also think revival. With the drop-leaves, would be considered a Pembroke table. Most of these were mahogany. Hard to tell what yours is from the one pic. Can we see the whole top in the open position?

The red does make me think mahogany. Still really can not tell for sure from the picture.

 

I've been doing more research on it and I'm pretty sure it's mahogany and 1830-1840. I've found a few more with pictures of the inside and other views that are identical. As in the link in one of the posts above, the piece looks identical and is listed as William IV, I think that is wrong and is what made me question my thoughts

Here is one I recently picked up that is clearly a revival piece. Very very similar.

 

I had seen some similar to that and many variations. I have found a few that are almost exactly the same as mine. I've been deciding on refinishing it or leaving as is. It's for my own use.

 

The grain in the center panel of the table top looks like walnut.
