    Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help me. I have a small, leather dice shaker, with "KNOO" Made in England stamped inside it on a metal ring which supports the mouth of the shaker. I have tried without success to find a similar one online, with the KNOO name.

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction to find out more about this.

    Welcome!
Are you referring to a "drinking glass" shaped dice cup? Does it have a lid or is it open?

Hi Mansons, I will post a photo of it soon. (My wife has the camera and is not in at the moment). I would not say it is drinking glass shaped. It does not have a lid but it has a metal ring which retains the mouth shape. It is a leather cup. The ring is nicely decorated, with green and gold decoration. The metal ring is stamped "KNOO" Made In England, with the KNOO letters just like that, in speechmarks. The decoration on the ring which holds the mouth shape is on the side which you would not see, strangely enough. The decoration is not visible from outside as the decorated side is against the inside rim of the cup. The mouth of the cup is the same size as the base and so it is not a tapered cup. The cup is 6.3cm high and 5cm in diameter both top and bottom. The cup is cylindrical.

Speechmarks indeed-call me uncultured but never heard that one before, but a Scottish website explained it.
