I know this is an older vase. I don't know if it would be considered antique. It is very pretty but I cannot find a value. I know also that no one wants to put a value on an item but just a hint would be fine. I plan on selling all of my vases. This is one of my stumpers. I think I bought this at a second hand shop. I find the pattern but not the it item. mersey vase1.png mersey vase2.png mersey vase3.png

Are those numbers after the word "registered"?

Hm. It would seem that such a short number would be in 1884.

I'm going to guess that it's a "transfer" that was registered to whoever designed it and was then licensed to for use by various potteries.

Hmm, all very interesting. Even with the extra information I still cannot find anything about the stamp at the bottom. No anchor, no crown. Very odd. Not sure what to do with it. Maybe start it at a low price and see what happens.

Lovely little vase. May have been part of a toilet set. Some of these late Victorian patterns came with a huge variety of individual items, some of which we don't use at all today. Bakersgma gave you a good descriptor and a good date. I'd also mention the sailing ship decoration. It might have cross appeal with some nautical theme collectors. Personally I'd start it around $15 - $19 and hope for the best.
