Not mine but I like the colors and graphics. Pic was on the online sked for one of the free digital TV movie channels. Wonder if this is a valuable mistake item because for unknown reasons Dale was in black and white, not colored in.

Maybe they wanted to highlight her but you would think she would be in color and Andy in B&W.

The more I look at her the more I wonder if they hadn't forgotten to put her on it at all and pasted her up. She looks cut out of something else.
There weren't copiers as we know them but maybe there was a way.

She, Andy and the SofP too this time but she doesn't look pasted in.
Could she have looked better on such things in B&W maybe?

It looks like both Dale and Andy are monochromatic, just Dale is in the blues of the poster and Andy in the browns.

It's Andy but an odd angle.

I wonder if it had anything to do with the problem of accurate color registration on smaller full-color elements?

Could be, might make Dale look like she smeared her lipstick all over or something.

I think these examples are similar to many posters from that era, so may have been just a design decision to go along with what was popular.

It is possible, though, that it was cheaper to print posters this way and that had a lot to do with it.

Some more older ones with B/W mixed in. Guess was just a common technique back then.

It certainly gives more oomph to the featured image.

Mo...all of course borrowed legally for "fair use for educational purposes" there's a loophole for that.
