Jewelry Give Away

Greetings, all -- I've been meaning to do another giveaway for a long time -- years!

Eligibility for the giveaway: must have been a member on Antiquers for at least three months, and have posted 25 threads and/or comments.

I'll pick a winner's name on Monday, January 23.

Today there are three items.
1. A necklace with a woman's portrait, marked Czechoslovakia on the ring next to the clasp. The beads are made of some sort of plastic. It is missing one bead at upper left of the pendant. The metal is brass, I believe.

2. An expansion bracelet with a cameo in a heart. Marked inside, "Victoria" and "Sterling Base." I don't think it is gold vermeil, but who knows? The bracelet is small, probably for a child. It does fit on small adult wrists. There are two missing "nail heads" on each side of the heart. So it expands more than it originally did.

3. Beaded bracelet on a flexible wire. Probably somebody's home project. The beads are very small.

 

It's possible that the beads on the Czech necklace are glass, not plastic. The gem tester moves ever so slightly when the needle is pressed onto a bead. Ends in the lowest part of the glass range.

ADDED: I should mention that if the winner is not in the United States we will need to discuss what to do about postage. Probably a split in some way. It will depend on what the shipping cost to that country is. I will pay for the postage if the winner is in the USA.

 

I just wanted to say this is so nice of you to do. I am not in, but wanted to like your post.

 

The bracelet is on the Victorian Revival end of things. These aren't for me, but somebody will want them.

I took the package to the post office yesterday, and beat the snowfall of today! It is on its way.
