Yes I have been MIA for a long time. Stopped doing ebay but finding a few things here and there to sell at the swap meet. We have this curiosity, any ideas? It is 35 1/2" tall, 6 1/2" base diameter. Thanks for checking this out!! and thanks for missing me. I really fell down a rabbit hole once we quit Ebay.

    You can still go back to 'edit' and delete them.:)

    The style of your carving looks modern Balinese, although the hairstyle is more Thai. They both copy a lot, so it could be either.

    The tiny waist is based on the shape of Wayang puppets, like my East Javanese Queen Sita, whose waist is only the red part, with a gold belt:

    Makes sense on her. She's made to be seen from a distance and exaggerated proportions make it easier to see who's who.
